I love my mommy-girl time!

My mom came to visit this week for a few days. I loved every minute of having her here;) We had dinner, went shopping, ran errands, and just caught up! Mike and I are soon returning the trip and heading to Jersey for some more time with her, and also with Dad! Love you both! Maaaaam, I miss you already!

It's All Good!

This weekend we travelled to WV and Ohio for the All Good festival! Words are not enough to explain this amazing time!!! Friday, we stayed in WV at Claude's bar and Inn...Clarksburg, WV. CJB played a great set and the girls had an awesome time!! Then, Saturday, we all made the trek to The All Good festival in Thornville, OH! They opened in the spot before the Allman Brothers and killed it!!!!!! I am one hell of a proud wife. I tell ya. My honey and his boys were definitely in their element and they played Saturday as The Bridge (which was an amazing reunion) and again Sunday as Cris Jacobs Band. Here are some highlight shots.

A fourteen year wedding anniversary...with Jenn??

Well...sort of. Tonight, my fabulous friend Jenn (who was visiting from the great state of Cali) met me for dinner. Since her hubby wasn't around to celebrate, I played the role of Jonny because it was also the night of their 14th wedding anniversary. I showed up wearing a tie, a "Jonny" name tag, and an "I love you" balloon. Needless to say, pictures were taken:

Another amazing trip to Jersey!

I came to Jersey to visit my family and some amazing friends. I cooked dinner for my mom, dad, Sherri, and their friends Bob and Dawn. It was delish! I got to hang with Heather at her shop, which is always wonderful, and then got to go with her to see her new store space! Heather's is moving to a rockstar location, and it is TERRIFIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited for her. The night continued with a visit from dad's friend Brian, and my friend, Matty! We laughed all night and loved every minute. The only thing missing, other than my awesome brother Adam, was my hubby, who was rehearsing with The Bridge who is reuniting this week to open for The Allman Brothers in Ohio!!! I can't wait to see that!! Today, I took dad to a morning appointment and then swung by to visit Sherri again. I met McKee for lunch and had the best time catching up with him. I am SO lucky to have so many amazing friends in my life. I love being here to spend this time with everyone;)

I am quite domestic!

I seriously LOVE cooking! Yesterday I made candied almond and cranberry scones for my honey. I have been trying new recipes and cooking up a storm! This week alone I am cooking four dinners....from scratch! So cool....Ian, you inspire me!!

Birthday in Tulsa

Skye rung in her 29th birthday in style, with a ton of fun, good friends, and mind-blowing food;) Too much fun to write, but some of the basics included a 70's style bowling alley, an 80's bar (with skeeball), a late night pizza (called the Betty White), meatless turn-overs (SO good), saki-bombs to the tune of "You can feel it coming in the air tonight," a store called The Stash (with so many mustaches inside, telling us to ride the waves), and SO much more. I am happy to say my girl is surrounded by love out there in Tulsa: a wonderful, loving boyfriend, a sweet little daughter, and a roommate who would move the heavens for her. It made me really happy to know she is happy in Tulsa. What a fun time;)

Fun times on the fourth!!

Happy 4th of July! Dave, Kim (and little baby boy to be), me and Mikey went to the fireworks! It was SO fun going old-school to watch some good old American fireworks.....good friends, good times. xoxo

Neil and Lindsay are married!!!

Well, words are NOT enough to describe the amazing wedding Mike and I were lucky enough to get an invite to. Neil is one of my wonderful friends and his wife, Lindsay...I loved the second I met her. The vows were so sweet and special, the party was off the hook, and everything was so beautiful and jaw-droppingly awesome!! One of the pictures below is of the candy/dessert bar that we walked by (and ate basically all of) on the way out of the wedding. Very cool, guys!!! Loved seeing my old high school friends and their beautiful spouses. It was so cool to see where we have all gone in life and how happy we all are in our lives. Very cool!! Congrats, bride and groom, have an amazing honeymoon!!!

A trip to Florida with Sherri!

This past weekend, Sherri and I took a trip down south to visit my family! We had the best time, just relaxing, hanging in the pool, eating yummy food, and so much more! We got to meet Dad and Lori's friend, Sharon, who is awesome, btw! Lori actually saved a kitten (see photo), who I named Miles (after Miles Davis;), and I fell in LOVE with him. We found him the best home and we are so thrilled about it! Jenna also came for a visit (pictures to come)! We LOVED this trip!!! Thanks, Dad and Lori, for having us!!
